FOX Fort Wayne News viewers will notice that we don’t use the word “exclusive” when promoting our stories. I feel “exclusive” has lost any relevance because so many stations use it to describe the most mundane coverage.
When we have stories that are unique to FOX Fort Wayne we will describe them as “only on FOX” or something like that. And we only do that when the coverage is truly ours alone. Two examples were on last night’s broadcast of FOX Fort Wayne News, First at 10.
Daniel Woodruff was the only reporter in court as former Fort Wayne City spokesman Vince Robinson chose not to contest the protection order filed against him by his former girlfriend. The story can be seen by clicking here.
Kristin Mazur was the only reporter to cover a Fort Wayne woman’s participation in the largest kidney exchange ever. It was a heart-warming story in keeping with the spirit of the season. You can see it by clicking here. In addition to the exceptional storytelling by Kristin, the segment included some state-of-the art graphics by one of our directors, Kelly Schultz.
Excellent work by the talented folks at FOX Fort Wayne.
